This handcrafted Edo Kiriko whisky glass is a limited edition design for the Year of the Snake.
The glass features a deep black-blue crystal base. Carved snake motifs and geometric patterns appear in translucent green and clear crystal, standing out sharply against the dark surface. The serpent wraps around the body of the glass in a poised, upright form, rendered with controlled and precise detailing.
Using traditional Edo Kiriko hand-cut techniques, each pattern is carved individually by skilled Japanese artisans. The dense cuts enhance light refraction, allowing the glass to reveal layered depth under different lighting conditions.
Made from lead-free crystal glass, the piece offers excellent clarity and weight. It is suitable for whisky tasting, display, and as a collectible item for those who appreciate Japanese craftsmanship.
